Roles & Responsibilities:
The HVAC Refrigeration Technician plays an important role in providing service to our customers heat pump equipment. HVAC knowledge, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills will contribute to the overall success of this role.
- Perform maintenance, installation, cleaning, diagnostics, and repairs on heat pump equipment
- Communicate with customers and administrative staff on a day-to-day basis
- Anchor and hook-up HVAC machinery
- Follow safety protocol and comply with safety and occupational standards
- Complete the scope of their job in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Refrigeration license an asset
- Minimum 1st year refrigeration apprenticeship complete
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the refrigeration industry
- Valid driver's license and abstract
- Safety certifications are considered an asset (First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS, etc.)
- Available for on-call rotation for emergency service
- Can handle medium to heavy equipment
